New Orleans

Set in 20-acres of beautifully and organically landscaped land, the estate’s mansion is an incredible centerpiece, resplendent in late 19th century architecture and furnished with a rich collection of antique pieces. You can enjoy a meandering stroll around the horticultural masterpiece of the Rip Van Winkle Gardens, explore the rambling mansion and take a break in its bijou café for a truly unique and memorable trip.

The Laura Plantation

If you’re anywhere near the Mississippi River you simply have to visit one of the many plantations in picturesque locations along the river’s banks. The Laura Plantation is open to visitors and has an amazing 12 listed buildings on the land that is a sugarcane plantation. The most notable property on the plantation is a 19th century Creole mansion that has been recently restored to its former glory.
